Meme Response

It took me a while to notice this tag:
  1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
  2. Open the book to page 123.
  3. Find the fifth sentence.
  4. Post the next three sentences.
  5. Tag five people.
"There is also a third possible scenario - even faster growth for print media, because more people spend their time with a variety of media which mutually reinforce each other in an increasingly closed and mediated world.

Driving forces, predetermined elements, and critical uncertainties give structure to our exploration of the future. Several times in this chapter I have referred to powerful impact of the baby boom on my thinking."
I think I'll only tag three people, if they haven't already been tagged:Daniel Davies, Gabriel Mihalache, and Aaron Swartz.( I've lost track of where I've seen this.)

it's the Mabinogion, translated by Gwyn Jones & Thomas Jones and the sentences are:

"A huge gold-hilted one-edged sword on the youth's thigh, and a new bright green scabbard on it, and a tip to the scabbard of laton of Spain; his sword belt of black fleecy cordwain, and gilt crossbars upon it, and a clasp of ivory thereon. And a pure black tongue to the clasp. A gold helm upon the rider's head and precious stones of great virtue therein, and on top of the helm the image of a yellow-red leopard with two bright red stones in its head, so that it was dreadful for a warrior, however stout his heart might be, to look on the face of the leopard, let alone on the face of the rider".

"But regardless of whatever cooperation exists between elite MAPAD board members and struggling store owners, the fact remains that it is tough to do business in the ghetto. Maquis Park, like many other inner-city neighborhoods, simply suffers form the lack of a community that consistently spends money. Few store owners claim that demand is sufficient enough to create a steady, reliable business climate."
